Sligo was one of my favorite trips. Was here for business (Rally Ireland) but I will definitely be returning shortly for pleasure. You have to visit O'Reilly's Pub. We had a lot of fun!

try horse riding centre in connemara i was theere on a riding course for advenced riders and i was really satisfaide ( :) kisses for the stuff)

They have a lovely beach. Good for surfing. Town is very small but cute. I wouldn't prefer the cinema. I'm really disappointed about it, very dirty and small.

City itself is kind of boring and doesn't have much to recommend it. If you are in to ancient stuff, there are quite a few neolithic tombs in the area. If you drive through, you may notice a few hilltops with piles of rocks on them (visible for many miles away, so you can't miss them), which are actually burial mounds.

A very quaint town to mix with the locals. and don't miss Yeats' grave just north of town.
