L'Anitica Pizzeria Da Michele! With its over 130 years history and the long queue outside this restaurant, I can say it's really an icon!! Unlike pizza hut and other pizza chain store, they only have two kinds of pizza for you to choose: Marinara and Margherita ~~ Only two main ingredients: Tomato and mozzarella (italian cheese), but you just won't forget the taste forever~~~PERFECTO!

They have: great gelato (ice cream) and pizzas Wonderfull castle (one of them - castello dell Uovo) a crazy traffic... :))

Walking along the sea is amazing. In town there is also a nice chocolate store, called Gay-Odin, where you can find anything made of chocolate. A very fancy ice cream bar, of which a have forgotten the name, is also there, and they sell fabulous ice cream made from seasonal fruits. Their toilets are wired, though. When you are in napoli, you can access to the Pompeji Ruins, which is compulsory. Bring water, it can be hot, and dont think you can make it to see all the ruins. However, it is fun to see if you have the slightest interest in ancient history

Napoli is fabulous... and very historical... with nearby Pompei its major draw where you realise what volcanoes can do... simply a must... compared to Norhtern Italian cities, Napoli is somewhat chaotic... this adds to is charm too, with men and women buzzing around on motorcycles and hanging around at street corners (beware of motorcycle bag-snatchers and picpocketers in Napoli)... this is also the city where the pizza originated and it doesn't get any better anywhere else...don't miss it ...Napoli is a convenient base too for taking in the scenic beauty of neighbouring islands like Capri, Anaapri or Sorrento on day-trips...and there are museums and sights within Napoli too...

There's quite a good café directly opposite the enterance to the ruins. Also, Ercalano is better than Pompei if you don't like crowds as less people visit but the ruins are just as good.

Must try local food here.. we almost missed the bus since we were too busy trying everything. Must bring a nice comfortable jacket.. trust me this city is very windy :)
