Rome, Lazio Region, Italy An extraordinary country! Good to visit, always! Good tip? (+4) Rome, Lazio Region, Italy With a good map and a hotel in the centre or not too far out of the centre of Rome, you can see Rome (the most tourist attractions) by foot! The attractions that are a little further away can be done by metro. Good tip? (0) Rome, Lazio Region, Italy Take the archeobus, it'll take you to the catacombs and the oldest aqueduct! magical! Good tip? (0) Prima Porta, Lazio Region, Italy Camp Tiber was a great value campsite near Rome. Here are the directions to get there, straight off their website. You can set up your own tent, or stay in a bungalow. If you are backpacking Europe, look for discount flyers in other campsites or hostels. Closest train stop is Prima Porta.

"If you are in the city itself, and are looking to reach Camping Tiber, just hop on the underground metro and head toward the Flaminio metro stop, on the A Line. Exit the stop itself, and change to the aboveground metro, F line, Ferrovia-Viterbo. Get off at the Prima Porta stop, and catch our shuttle bus, which runs evry 30 minutes from 8 am to 11 pm to the campsite. Or give us a call, will come and pick you up. We are only one kilometer away!" Good tip? (0) Rome, Lazio Region, Italy Roma is according to me @ the end of its latin, you can feel the southern part of italy gettin' behind! A lot of accomodations were closed and the people seamed to be living 50 years ago. Still it's a great city, with hot nights and tastefull cocktails, if you want to get an explanation it's good to speak some italian ;) and of course the most fun way to get around is by renting a vespa 125cc!! Doen gewoon Good tip? (0) Rome, Lazio Region, Italy The most wonderful city all ove rthe world. Just too cahotic... Good tip? (0) Rome, Lazio Region, Italy Most beautifull historic city I've visited so far. a MUST DO! Been there once for 5 day, i'm totaly going back for more days! Visit all the square, vatican city museums, the colloseum during day at night great!! you can do a night visit of the city, it's nice but to bad they don't let you out of the bus to take pictures (only once) Good tip? (0) Rome, Lazio Region, Italy Rome has only two metro lines: A and B, which means you'll be doing a lot of walking... fortunately most of the sights are within a few miles of each other and a normal person should be able to walk about anywhere. Plus it helps shed all those extra pounds from the deliciously large portions! :P Good tip? (0) Rome, Lazio Region, Italy The most romantic place. Excellent food (visit La pantera rossa), amazing sightseiings (all this culture and history), beautiful people. Generally is a place where someone will not get bored since he has million things to do and see. In any case SHOP (be prepared to spend a lot). Also there are many stock places with crazy low rates from designers in clothes and accessories.
Dissadnantages:
-Be very carefull with your belongins in private places (metro, road). The mugging is an every day phenomenon.
