Buy the Cinque Terre visitors card at the tourist office in Riomaggorie, it gives you access to all the tracks. There are guards along the way so dont lose the card! Also upgrade to the card that includes a rail ticket, and you can spend a day walking the five cities and head back to base by rail with no hassles at the end of an awesome day!

Make sure you walk the Rio del amore, between Riomaggiore and Manarola. Most beautiful, romantic stroll you could imagine. Eat lots of delicious food- the best pesto and amazing seafood are in all the restaurants.

When you get down there, book a trip to Cinque Terra, beautiful.

Beautifull small town, one of the most exciting place in Liguria, but avoid common holiday time, because it is flooded of tourist. Hard to find a place to sleep, always overbooked.

Very romantic village. The sea is perfect, you can take a cheap ship to the island opposite to the city, have a bath and take super photos. The western side of the city has an impressive bicolour dome, and a panorama which inspired Lord Byron. It is suggested the walking to the Cinque Terre, with terrific views through lemon plants. Not to be visited in July-August.
