A beautiful, traditional ancient port town. Although the island of Sardinia is a 'mountain food culture' due to the many conquests and forced relocation to the mountain tops. However, in Alghero, you can find excellent fresh fish dishes many still stemming from the Catalan Spanish influence from the 1300's-

Nightlife on the coast only. People watch you and have a very decent way to behave, so don't go strolling naked.
