on the same dates as the Venice Carnival is occuring, around February, in Campitello they have a carnival too with traditional costumes and masks , where the locals march through the town, all dressed up, and put on a little show in the town centre. highly recommended

Bolzano is a beautiful City in the Dolomites (Italian Alps). It is a German cake with Italian icing. The Cathedral is of great beauty. There are plenty of walks to am well walk and lots of interestion museums. There is also the Monumento Alla Vittorio. Which is and arch to celebrate the Italians Victory over the Austria-Hungarians in WWI.
