Don't stay in Sheraton Padova - is out in the middle of nowhere - very hard to get back forth to unless you taxi it. Local bus leaves you off you have to run across a busy motor-way!!!

A great place to stay when you want to visit Venice but don't want to pay Venice prices or can't find an affordable Venice accommodation. Within an hour by train to Venice.

Padova is a great starting point for all those who want to travel round Veneto and North Italy. It's cheaper than Venice, but only 30 min away! It' near the mountains, the sea and the Lake Garda. In Padova there is the oldest Botanic Garden in the world, one of the oldest Universities (Galileo Galilei, Nicolaus Copernicus, etc.), world famous St. Antonio's Basilic, beautiful main square Prato della Valle and lot's of international students and tourist' facilities.

This place is to relax only and get in tune with nature. Dont expect crazy nightlife... just terme, wine, and food. Great vinyards as well!!
