Prilep with its view from the nearby mountain is a nice small city; sights to note are the statue of Alexander the Great next to what looks like an old Roman wall... dine at Macedonia House for an insight into the local culture.

It is the most historical place in this part of the country.Above it there are towers from the time of Turkish empire and rocks to climb to. Local people are shy, but they will help you if you speak their language.

You must visit the Center, it is very nice.The city has captured the old "face". People are poor, so the prices are very cheap.ENJOY IT!!!
