For Indians travelling to KL - I think its smartest to use the KLIA Express on the way back to the airport - 27 mins from the station to airport Lot of Indian restaurants - best is Sarvana bhavan (south Indian) Mega Mall is good for shopping branded stuff - but you can pick up a lot of give aways etc from China Town or India masjid area Negotiate Negotiate Negotiate at china town - replica pens are RM 10-15. Replica watches start at RM 75-100 The best time you can have is at genting if you are into casinos etc - Spice garden is amazing for Indian food - pls ensure that u pick up your beer cans etc from Carrefour or 7/11before you hit Genting - there are no shops on the way to Genting - in genting these cost RM 15 - almost 3 times the market cost In KL - you can dig into amazing Pani-Puris etc at Bombay Palace You can go to CitySeasons hotel (opp KL General Hospital for Nightlife)

Go to the Petronas Twin Towers early in the morning. The Bridge Visit is free, but it comes on a first-come-first-served basis.

Get there via a cab. Remember to ask for the taxi meter to be turned on. You`ll save more that way.

For bargain-shopping, go to Petaling Street in China Town. Ride the train station to Plaza Rayat . Be careful with your belongings.

Petaling Street has the cheapest finds.

However, compared to sales people in Shanghai, they aren't that much insisting. If you don't like their price, they won't sell you their goods.

Also, fake designer bags are abundant here. Souvenir shirts are cheap for 5RM!

HAGGLE TO DEATH. You can haggle by asking the sales person to ignite a lighter on the knock-off leather good they're buying. If they can't do that, ask for a lower price.

Try out the Soya Bean drink. :] Yum. You can buy for only 1.20 RM. There are also restos in between kiosks of stuff. Order mango juice and French fries.

According to Yahoo Travel, Bintang Walk is "a row of street-side cafes, restaurants and pubs, stretching from Lot 10 Shopping Centre to the JW Marriott Hotel. "At night, Bintang Walk truly comes alive, when live jazz music is played and the whole place is beautifully lit-up."

The biggest techie/IT mall in Asia is here. :] Also, if you want designer duds, go here. This is like Greenbelt of Malaysia.

PJ is a great city to live in - quiet and slightly more laid back compared to KL. Neighbours are friendly. You can get almost anything you need here, and cheaper too. Plenty of great food if you know where to look.
