Mdina, Malta The silent city, as it's also known, is an amazing place where you really can step back to days gone by. The narrow streets are haunting and enchanting, with the quintessential Maltese architecture some of the best you'll see. The parish church is brilliant, and there are quite a few good museums and galleries too. Best of all is the view from the walls of the city; once the capital of Malta due to its altitude, you really can see everywhere on the island from here. Mdina is a very beautiful city indeed! Good tip? (+2) Valletta, Malta There's a great monostary there..its beautiful..you can see loads of the island by hiring a jeep or bikes. Good tip?
