I stayed at Le Suffren hotel by the waterfront of Port Louis, and have to say that I'd recommend it to any person travelling through Mauritius. It's just across the river from a large shopping area and has great service and friendly staff. The only down-side was their slow Internet connection, but I hear they're working on a faster solution now.

le cannonier.a very nice hotel,nice service.lovely mini club for your children but be aware the speak mostly french(most dont mind because they have much fun even if they dont speak the laungage).theme nights every night,beautifull beach the pool is always freezen.the rooms are OK nothing special.ask for ground floor where you can have a sunbed right out of your room.the man in the diving schooll is great!always happy(i think he is on something)!but he is safe and very kind.book a taxi driver for your trips its much cheaper.have a lovely holiday!

Port Louis has a nice market. Really nice to visit to get a glimpse into the daily Mauritian life and cuisine. Across the street is an old fort of sorts, which isn't too appealing. But head out to the left and you have a large shopping centre, which is great if you want a break from the chaos of Port Louis.

Fabulous service, fantastic scenery, diving paradise

Da gibts vieel billiger Scheiss mit Markennamen. Militärhafen, wenn man auf sowas steht. Fischmarkt, wen man abgehärtet ist was Gerüche angehen.

Port Louis is a busy town, with it's markets, loads of people and traffic but it also got a lot to offer for example the worlds second oldest horse track or a China town it even got it own fort placed on top of a small mountain that overlooks the city it's an amazing view.

TRIOLET est un petit village pitoresque et à forte communautée indienne d'origine non loin de GRANBAIE oû vous pourrez trouver tout le nécessaire afin de réaliser un feu d'artifice sur la plage digne de ce nom surtout pendant la fête de la lumière ou divalli.à faire absolument: prendre le bus local la façon de conduire des chauffeurs,c'est à mourrir de rire
