Coyoacan is a beautiful place where Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera's blue house is located. It is also home to many artists, tourists and bohemians who are interested in displaying, selling or buying jewelry, art pieces, and incense. It's a great place to visit outdoor cafes and talk politics or simply enjoy yourself.

Ahi esta la casa de Frida Kalo, restaurants donde la comida es muy buena, mercado de arte y muchas cosas mas. Muy bonito lugar.

La Casa Azul is located in Coyoacan, Mexico City. It is the house where famous Mexican artists Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera lived together. The house has now been turned into a museum and is a wonderful place to visit for art enthusiasts! It is also the resting place of Frida herself.

Coyoacan used to be a separate town from mexico city and now it´s one of the city´s Southern neighborhoods. public transportation in the area is not very efficient so i would take a cab (always call a station first, don´t take cabs on the street!). Coyoacan is one of the hippie and artsy parts of the city. a lot of young people go there at night and during the weekends. and there´s a lot of options in terms of food and entertainment. 
don´t miss the "Casa Azul", Frida Kahlo's Blue House museum. it´s magical!!!! it´s one of my favorite places in the world! (i am a big Kahlo fan). Trostky´s former house, now museum is also in Coyoacan but I haven´t been able to go yet. friends tell me it´s very interesting as well.

there are 2 main "parks/plazas" just next to one of the most ancient churches in DF(mx city), in the back-street of it , you will find the "Antojeria", this is a place to choose from 15 or 20 difernt "tipical mexican cheap food" (e.g. tacos, pozole, quesadillas, flautas, and gorditas", all of them amazingly tasty, not necesarly hot..! haha
