En La Paz estuve hace unos 14 años, supongo que habrá cambiado mucho, y que está aprovechando el tirón de los Cabos. En cualquier caso, es en La Paz donde he degustado los famosos "Ostiones Rockefeller". Al principio no es fácil, no todo mundo es capaz de ingerir el contenido viscoso de una ostra sin sentir algo de arcadas. No es que sean nauseabundos, pero no deja de ser la sensación de una textura poco común. No obstante la sal gorda y el limón hacen una experiencia degustativa inigualable. Después, segúramente encontrarás unas hermosas ostras de madre-perla en algún mercadillo. Por cierto, las compras en La Paz son interesantes ya que está en una zona franca.

Lo mejor es comprar camarones secos en las gasolineras, son tan frescos que de secos no tienen nada :)

Monterrey! Now we're talking!!! The most modern city in Mexico, a lot of places to hang out and party. A LOT of entertainment alternatives. Definitley a place to go. DON'T expect to see a poor, third-world place: Monterrey is the elite of Mexico and Latin America.

CAPITAL OF THE WORLD!!!! Hahahaha, I was born there... well, modern industrious city in Mexico. Not very touristic, but tons of friendly people. It doesn't has a lot of 'attractions', but you can always see and have fun.

Few Americans really evver see Mexico like I have. 3 hours from any shoreline and in the heart of a dusty valley, Torreon and Gomez Palacio is home to some of the most beautiful and hospitible people in the world. Enjoy some steak and rancheros.

Park on the Brownsville side of the border and walk right over to Matamoros. Bring ten bucks with you and walk into one of the unlimited liquor clubs and you will be enjoying life Mexican style.

Monterrey es una ciudad muy parecida a Texas.. con muchos restaurants, cafeterias americanas. Es una ciudad que se encuentra entre montañas, tiene lindos paisajes y se puede recorrer la fábrica fundidora, e se encuentra fuera de actividad hace tiempo, y el barrio viejo que es un barrio muy colonial. Waow! Batopilas is for sure one of the more beautiful place to be. The five hours truck trip to get there through the wonderful Copper Canyon is an amazing experience... Not for people who get sick in the mountains though...
