Go visit the old city in Jerusalem, walk through the streets of the market, on any friday evening watch the sunset over the western wall. ladies please remember to cover your legs (don't wear shorts or really short skirts)

It's stinking hot! If your travelling over there. DO NOT bring alcohol with you or magazine showing part of womens body, Christmas music or religious stuff like a cross. My friend was thrown in jail because he had Christmas music in his suit case!!! Do what they say. No room for negociation. Be prepare to receive proposal to buy your wife or girlfriend. I know someone that was offered camels and gold for his wife. He just flip mad when he was told no.

You have to visit the grave of Hafez, it is a very nice atmosphere at night. Also the Persepolis or "Takhte Jamshid" is a must.

The best way (and cheapest) to travel around Sana'a is to hop a debub... a small minivan that acts like a bus. They are about 20 rials a ride which is about 10 cents USD!

dress up in a conservative and decent way, you don't have to wear a headscarf but do it just to show respect because you're in a very traditionalized place, don't wear tank tops!

When buying things...HAGGLE HAGGLE HAGGLE! Never settle for the price that someone gives you. They'll think you're strange if you don't. And if they seem really insistant on the price, walk away...they'll rethink and call you back if they think they're going to lose the sale.

If your trekking a lot in a desert or in really hot places you can sometimes get sore between your legs on your inner thigh, because everything's gets sweaty and starts rub against your clothes. A good way to prevent that is to put baby powder all over that area.

They call Esfehan, half of the WORLD in Iran. It's such an amazing city. The architecture of the buildings are from 500 years ago and they are just wonderful. It has some great bridges and very cool stuff to do there.

Bam is the greatest mud city in the world. Sigh, the earth quick of 2004 destroyed most of this beautiful city....
