It has nice beaches and old town

A great and cheap place on the coast where there is not much to do activity wise but if you want to just chill out or drink yourself crazy...the beaches have it all. But be careful, the beaches are all stone and not sand which is something I did not like in particular.

While being in Montenegro, you need to really watch out if you're hitch-hiking. On the border of Montenegro and Albania smuggling weapons, drugs or... women isn't anything weird or uncommon. I had a situation in which two guys tried to kindap me and my friend. Female travelers are recommended to travel at least in couples. Apart from that, the area is beautiful.
