don't buy shoos when you're high and wasted. I left a store with two right shoos. not very useful. .

It is verey nice to see the great fine arts of which artists like Rembrandet, Van goch Gogan made it in Amesterdan musimes. Hope to have the oppartuinty to see them life

yes, i can imagine that u can get stuck in a coffeeshop for ur whole trip. but maybe it's an idea to check out the city itself, before you do that. it's a shame to see everything completely stoned, because than u can't remember anything except for the photo's u took. just walk around, the inner centre is ok, but try to get into the canal area: de 9 straatjes (9 lil streets), jordaan. both of them have very good, not that expensive restaurants and bars and cool boutiques with whatever u want. good museum is stedelijk museum, which is (still) next to central station. locals all speak English, and mostly open for a conversation or asked directions. try to get hold on a "strippenkaart" which is much cheaper to go by bus or tram than buying a ticket everytime u get on.

Okay, tips no 1: Buy your own grinder - it´s cheaper... in the end. Tips no 2: Stay at the Flying Pig Hostel, THE best and most secure one - and right in the center of it all! Mental...

Very nice capital! Rather a historic city than a metropole. A city where you can easily enjoy strolling all day long. For those who want to visit Amsterdam only just in order to gest stoned: pick another Dutch city, for it will be cheaper and better stash; go more down south...

Rent a bike for the day and get out of the city centre. Then you'll see the real Amsterdam the way the locals live. Try getting lost and before you know it you'll strike gold by finding a little local restaurant with great food at a fraction of a cost of the tourist prone city centre.

Avoid the touristy areas and go off the beaten path. There are huge outdoor marketplaces if you just look around.
