A typical Dutch city with much to offer. History: critical battles during WW2. Culturaly: fashion capital of the Netherlands with Academy of Arts. Shopping: a nice centered shopping area (traffic free!) with lots of small boutiques as well as all the big brands. And most important: lots and lots of restaurants, cafe's, bars and disco's, all centered around the square 'De Korenmarkt'.

Zandvoort is famous for 2 things: 1 the racing circuit. That looks out over the dunes towards the second thing: The sea and beach clubs!
Walking 15 minutes towards the north and you will find Bloemendaal beach where are even more party's. Small and really special party's during the week and big and commercial in the weekends. Always top dj's and beautiful people!

Great city! Is the only city in Netherlands that still uses trams. Nice people and nice places to go shopping and eating.

Hartenstein (Headquarters of the allied forces during WWII).

When in Arnhem, do take the Tower Lift in the Church of Saint Eusebius. The view from the top is really breathtaking!

Come and see Burgers Bush! The most beautiful zoo in Europe with a tropical zoo and a big desert. Also a big tropical aquarium where you can walk trough.

IF you may have chance to visit Arnhem in the summer time, you may find it interesting : 1. to visit the Openluchtmuseum or Open air museum. You may have a chance to taste the local food, to see how the cheese is made, how the local people sow and grow their vegetables, etc. 2. to try the famous dutch pannenkoek or pancake at a Pannenkoekenhuis. Unlike American thick narrow round pancake with maple syrup, dutch pannenkoek is made with various toppings, either salty or sweet.

There is a beautiful old historic chapel in this little town that is absolutely breathtaking. Definitely worth the stop in this little town. We did!!
