The Netherlands is often mistakenly called Holland...
Holland is the western part of the country and is divided in North-Holland and South-Holland.
Eindhoven is the 5th largest city in the Netherlands and is located in the southern region.
It is home to the famous PSV stadium and the soccer club and the worldwide known electrical giant Philips.
There is a pretty good nightlife and nice restaurants all over the city center. One of the better nightclubs is De Rechter (the Lawyer) and club Rembrandt, where is mostly a younger crowd (25) is a nice place 2 and only weekend in what is normally a movie theater.

The place to be on "Roze Maandag"!

i've lived there for a 30 days, for Christ sake:)
there are some good places at downtown, specially if you like house music.

Be careful around the PSV stadium. Not s very savory place.

There's a couple of really nice restaurants on the plaza of old Downtown Eindhoven. Le Connaisser is by far the best place for a nice meal there.

When in Eindhoven and looking for a stroll, you can walk along the Dommel thru the parks.

eindhoven has a large student population so there are great mid week drinking offers in most of the clubs and bars.

Glow das Lichtfestival in Eindhoven findet irgendwann im Herbst statt. Die Ausstellung ist in der ganzen Stadt verteilt, ob drinnen oder draussen. Einfach warm anziehen und denn Augenschmaus geniessen..
