it was the homecity of Rembrandt so if you want to visit it, check when are some celebrations connected with the painter, so you may be able to get to know the city how it was centuries ago..

The cathedral the pilgrims attended after they fled England and before they traveled to the new world is in Leiden.

Leiden is magnificent place to live and visit. I lived there for a year, and enjoy the nice antique city of Rembrandt. It is located half hour by train from Amsterdam and 10 minutes from The Hague.....There are a lot of spots to see in this city, especially for those who love history and beautiful architecture....i enjoy it very much

Must go see the Keukenhof. World famous spring gardens!!!!! Beware because you must pay for parking (6 euros) as well as a ticket to get in..

great city, lot of bars, restaurants, water and students! Very good atmosphere!

Keukenhof, beautiful flower garden, very touristic, open april/may.

Great place to visit, beautiful with great food. Great or families, everyone is friendly, easy transportation, most people speak english.

There is one reason only to visit Lisse, to see the Spring Gardens of Europe, Keukenhof! The gardens are open from March until May each year and boast over 6 million bulbs of tulips. There are no words that adequately express the true beauty of these gardens so you must experience them to understand. There is a small Golden Tulip Hotel within a 20 minute walk of the gardens. It's nothing fancy but quiet and clean with a decent restaurant.

Pas grand-chose à voir avec la ville elle-même, mais au moins, ça donne une idée de circuit en Hollande, hein... ;)
