The only real reason to go to Nelson, is the Abel Tasmen National Park. It is a very beautiful and awe inspiring day.I did the full day kayaking trip, which i personally wouldnt recommend, a bit expensive, and you can see much more of the park if you do a half day kayaking, half day walking trip.
