Bocas del Toro, Bocas del Toro Province, Panama
Don't be fooled. Bocas Del Drago does not exist. If someone tells you to take a nice hike across the island to find it, they are ill-informed. My friends and I spent a day and night foraging through the wilderness trying to find Bocas Del Drago but only found bugs, alligators, scrapes, cuts, scratches, a lack of water and thank god some people who lived in the middle of the jungle who helped us find our way home.

Bocas del Toro, Bocas del Toro Province, Panama
If you go to the La Isla de Bocas del Toro, you'll need to bring your own water, since the stuff from the taps isn't potable.

Bocas del Toro, Bocas del Toro Province, Panama
The archipelago has very shallow water. My kayak bottomed out a decent distance from land and a friend got hurt when he scraped his back on fire coral while snorkeling at the surface.
