Locals are really friendly Good tip? (0) Panama, Panama Province, Panama Is very nice and hot but you will like it because is so cool. Good tip? (0) Almirante, Bocas del Toro Province, Panama SOme of the best non-touristy beaches in Panama, absolutly awesome. If you can get to the Yris-Nori restauraunt on the far side of the island from Bocas it is quiet and off the beaten path. There is a research station there that rents rooms at a really cheap rate and it is worth the stay. Good tip? (0) Volcan, Chiriqui Province, Panama Incredible! Need I say more? Volcan is beautiful. The cool temperatures during the day and the cold temperatures at night make you forget that you are in Central America! Volcan is a city on the side of the volcano Chiriqui. The best hotel there for sure is El Bambito, with a bargain at $80 a night in their suite rooms! A view of the mountains! Many activities and local businesses with drop dead low prices on everything from food to clothing. Who doesn't want an XXL large pizza for $5? Transportation is by bus only here. You can bring your own car but driving through this terrain, I rather leave it to the experts. Good tip? (0) |
