Bring everything, lots of cool bed breakfasts in the area.

Stay at Hotel Galicia! It's really beautiful, has spacious rooms, and after only a couple hours you actually get used to the acrid odor.

Great Vacation spot there is a ton of things one could do i recommend checking out the ruins that goes by the name of Panama viejo(Old Panama) its close to Tocumen Int Airport.

SOme of the best non-touristy beaches in Panama, absolutly awesome. If you can get to the Yris-Nori restauraunt on the far side of the island from Bocas it is quiet and off the beaten path. There is a research station there that rents rooms at a really cheap rate and it is worth the stay.

Incredible! Need I say more? Volcan is beautiful. The cool temperatures during the day and the cold temperatures at night make you forget that you are in Central America! Volcan is a city on the side of the volcano Chiriqui. The best hotel there for sure is El Bambito, with a bargain at $80 a night in their suite rooms! A view of the mountains! Many activities and local businesses with drop dead low prices on everything from food to clothing. Who doesn't want an XXL large pizza for $5? Transportation is by bus only here. You can bring your own car but driving through this terrain, I rather leave it to the experts.
