It's nice to walk around Makati area with your family. It's clean and you can do a lot of shopping!

be aware of your surroundings.

be careful in jeepneys, there are some holdapers. do not interact w/ other passengers

the capital of the philippines. its a very big city. very crowded in most places. the biggest mall in asia is located there.

the chinese cemetery is well worth a visit, you will be a mazed how well the dead are treated!

Intramuros is a must-see if you visit Manila.

Hot and dirty. if your rich you drive in your air- conditioned car, from your air- conditioned house to the air-conditioned supermarket, shopping centre, amusement park. Whilst people try and sell yesterdays newspaper to you throguh your car window when you're stuck in traffic. Keep your windows up to avoid smoke and hands entering. Shopping rocks, people are lovely, yay if you have a pool, sucky if you don't.

Dont drive in Philipines!! lol the Gypneys are crazy and no one follows the rules, unless you are a seasoned offensive driver :)

The markets in Manila are awesome! Remember that bargining is normal-never settle for asking price!
