For live Music go to Manila! Did you know that all over the Asian Pacific Area music bands from the Philippines are on stage! Pilipinos are born with music and are extremely talented. In Manila don't miss Hobbit House (Freddie Aguilar, check which day of the week) or Cowboy Grill. Just walk along mabini street, Malate area. Lot's of music and fun.

If you're looking for fantastic shopping, fine dining and fresh air in the middle of Hussle and bussle Manila.... Check in at Shangri la or Peninsula hotel in Makati, Manila, the financial district of Manila. In walking distance you find Glorietta shopping mall, Landmark shopping and the upscale Greenbelt. When tired from the it all, take a seat in the beautiful Greenbelt Park. Lots of fantastic restaurants, bars and clubs. In the middle of skyscrapers you find a little place that's quiet and peaceful. Plants and trees, birds and bees. Spend a day in that area and see if you like it as much as I do.

Filipino food is not very good, but try a great vegetarian restaurant in Quezon City called Greens. It's awesome! It's off of Tomas Morato on a small street called Scout Castor.

Bring LOTS of insect repellent! Trust me.

Visit the University of the Philippines in Diliman, jog, eat isaw and barbeque, then have a nice dinner at Chocolate Kiss inside the campus.

A huge city with crowded of people; Riches poors. Nice for the Nightlife and and visits in the japanese forts and spanish churches... :-) People are so friendly and helpful!

Manila is a nice city. But its just a city dont think about nice beaches there. Best place for cheap shopping Greenhills
