DO NOT TRUST TO THE FIRST PERSON YOU MEET. FILIPINOS ARE FRIENDLY TO FOREIGNERS BUT THERE ARE ALSO SOME WHO ARE WISE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE.

don't drink the water! ha ha! I made that mistake because i thot it was bottled but they just reused bottle, i had the craziest dreams and didnt sleep 24 hrs.

be aware of your surroundings.

be careful in jeepneys, there are some holdapers. do not interact w/ other passengers

Busy busy place. This is the Philippines so it's easy to find American fast food.. TOO easy, you might say. I thought Quezon City was fascinating, it's loud polluted and crowded.. but it was sure was nice to escape into the countryside. There's a lot of shopping but heaps of poverty too. Try not to get run over or have your wallet stolen. It's helpful if you know people here, they can help you get around town.

Let's just say an eye opener to third world countries!!!

Be careful! Especially when going out alone!

dont put your wallet in your back pocket!! Always hold your purse really tight!
