If you want a relaxing vacation come to the Philippines where you can see different cultures, good food that they make and great oceans, river falls!!

Please do not screw up your nose at the horrid smell of the food in public. Always smile ask for help to anyone you come across. They are helpful people.

Busy busy place. This is the Philippines so it's easy to find American fast food.. TOO easy, you might say. I thought Quezon City was fascinating, it's loud polluted and crowded.. but it was sure was nice to escape into the countryside. There's a lot of shopping but heaps of poverty too. Try not to get run over or have your wallet stolen. It's helpful if you know people here, they can help you get around town.

Try the restaurant called DAMPA. It's pretty cool, you get to buy the food uncooked and have it prepared/cooked your way. A little expensive but you'll enjoy eating here.

Endless choices of restaurants and fast food. pretty cheap too! personal experience: almost something different every night for our three week stay. theres that many options X)

You like the big shells you found on the beach, or sought while diving\snorkeling??? So did I! In Manila, the backpackersdistrict, there are loads of seefood-restaurants. They will make soup out of the inside of the shells, and throw the rest of it away. If you aske nicely, they might give you some of those amazing big shells,... Just be careful when you try to take them out of the country!
