This former site of a US Naval Base is host to many tourist attractions which include casinos, beach resorts, diving/snorkelling, parks, beachside huts and cottages and historical artifacts.
Subic itself has few beach resorts and currently no casinos. The most noted beach resort is White Rock. Another resort that offers a vibrant nightlife aside from simple room accommodations, is Treasure Island Resort. This resort houses the legendary Dryden's, a bar that is known for its drinks and entertainment. Good tip? The houses were built for American families so they are nice and clean. You can cook your own food and the former base is clean... nice to drive around, take walks, etc. Good tip? (0) Olongapo, Luzon Islands, Philippines olongapo city, this is the city that never sleep in the night.it is a simple town, but well organize by the municipal govt.the only city in the phils. with color coded jeepney ( a public utility transport.) night life is great in olongapo city specially in Magsaysay ave.food and drinks are good and affordable.with more than 5 duty freeshop inside the former american naval base,you can buy as many as you can carry.ifyou are looking for a nice, clean beach resort go to subic area,good scuba diving with ww 2 wrecks,and game fishing, you can hire a boat or sailing boat or experience the sunset cruise at subic bay ,you can send e mail to inquire at subic bay yacth club,contact person Mr. Igmidio Laban DockMaster SBYC.e mail add marina@sbyc.com.ph . subic is one of the great place to live on for your retirement.
