Puerto Galera is a town in Mindoro, an island just below Batangas. The main capital of Mindoro is Calapan. Puerto Galera is famous for the beautiful views, beaches, and waterfalls. Although it's more expensive to go to Puerto Galera than Boracay, it's a great place for relaxation. It's also known for their floating "Kubo" house bar!

If you guys can find "Luca's", they have some really good pizza and fruit shakes. Luca can only cook when he's drunk though.

The best dive operator we have found is Rick who owns Fortune divers and a small bar/resturant next door. We always have great dives and a great time.

This is a huge Diving spot

Do not travel on summer, too many people and the room prices are x3 more expensive. an ordinary room will range 500 to 800 for a single day (not a peak season)

Go snorkling and diving, amazing submarine life to experience. Everything from sharks, stingrays, turtles to coralls and shipwrecks.
