Swam in the chilly Mediterranean Sea here.  Some opted for a trip to Africa (Tangiers) for one day.  There was a high rocky and dangerous cliff near where we swam.  This was the final travel stop by scenic BIG window coach from Granada, to Seville, to Malaga, for a seven-day tour, while I was in high school.  The bus experience was quite exciting.  The TIA plane experience was another story altogether!  The mountains were beautiful and picturesque.  I traveled with my brother for the duration.  I was 14yrs-old.

Pack up for the beach! I have found there to be a universal feel about beaches in most of europe- You can find hip-hop American music, beaded necklaces, beach bars, although in Torremolinos, for women, topless is the way to go.

The Spanish spoken here can seem very 'lazy' to a non-native. Don't bother with the 's' on the end of ' seis ' (six)...they just won't understand! Try something more like 'say' and you'll get along just fine. :) On the other hand, those further north pronounce their words in a 'sharper' fashion, so you will probably hear the 's' in places like Barcelona.
