The TIA plane experience was another story altogether! The mountains were beautiful and picturesque. I traveled with my brother for the duration. I was 14yrs-old. Good tip? It's a southern city of Spain in Andalucia. It has good beaches and some places to visit. And it also is Picasso's birth place, so there're something about Picasso.
- Sightseeing
1. Alcazaba (Fortress)
It's a Moorish fortress on the mountain, so it has a great view. You can find the entrance near the Teatro Romano(Roman Theatre). The Entrance Fee is really cheap. If you have a student card, you can get in with just 0,60€ ; unless, you have to pay about 3 €, but still it's not expensive for its good sight. Beautiful Fortress with pretty good garden.
2. Catedral de Malaga
It's a beautiful cathedral in the centre of the city. It has a nick name 'Manquita' that means a man who doesn't have an arm(in Spanish 'manco'), because normally it has to have two tower, but because of the financial problem, it has only one tower. You can visit the museum in the Cathedral. The Entrance to Cathedral costs about 3€.
3. Museum of Picasso
Because Malaga is Picasso's Birthplace, there are many things about him, and this museum is one of them. If you're interested in his painting, it would be good to visit. On every last sunday of each month, the entrance is free.
4. Castillo de Gibralfaro(Fortress Gibralfaro)
It's on the top of the mountain, so if you're going to visit there, you can take a walk but also you can take a lift. Visiting there by walk takes much time and energy. It has a magnific view. You can see whole Malaga, and also Plaza de Toro(Bull fight ring). The entrance fee is same as Alcazaba. Every Sunday, after 2:00 the entrance is free. Good tip?
