Lovely city - stay in a bostal! Would go in summer and good place to party.

Apres avoir effectué un court passage a Goteborg, voila ce que j'en retient : le bateau mouche est pas mal et surement le moyen le moins fatigant pour visiter la ville qui est jolie mais dont bcp de batiment auraient besoin d'un petit coup de renovation ! pour ce qui est de lambiance, je n'ai pas vraiment eu a me plaindre : j'y suis allée pour la finale de la coupe de l'UEFA en 2003 (Marseille-Valence), il y avait dc enormement de monde (pour une ville comme goteborg) et comme les supporters venaient encourager leurs equipes respecrtives, il y avait aussi beaucoup d'ambiance. Et malgré que marseille ait perdu cette finale, j'en garde un super souvenir !

theres a chinese place in the centre of town kinda near the mall Nordstan which last time i went, for like 5 or 10 euros at lunch gets you an all you can eat deal.

Goteborg (pronounced yuhttaborg) is an industrial capital of Sweden...Saab and Volvo both have factories in the area and this has helped the development of the area. Good modern restaurant choice is Tva Kan Ten. One of my favorite meals worldwide, and the best meal I had while in Sweden.

Only the drive through the city to the ferry is worth your while!
