In Scandinavia, we spent most of our nights on overnight trains to save money, however in Stockholm we stayed 1 night on a boat in the harbour. It was very atmospheric. worked out to about $30 per person I think, so pricey on a backpacker budget, but everywhere in Sweden is, so based on that fact, it was pretty good.

the 2kronor hostel is really nice and its located directly on the seaside of gamla stan (the old city), i at least felt save there and it was a good place to start my trips to the different places in stockholm

One of the prettiest cities. Easy access anywhere, can't really imagine to get lost there. Really nice people. I fell in love with Gamla Stan, oh how I wish to live there.

The Ice Bar at the Ice Hotel is a must do!!

This is a major thing in sthlm, here you'll find pritty much everything that is to see in sthlm so go for the ships, the walk or just sit down somewhere with a cup of whatever and just look at the view and the people.

14 islands, a lake and the sea....so beautifill, but never hot enough to swimm....easy to get lost so keep your map close!

Such an amazingly beautiful city. The city backpackers is a good option for budget travellers. Great location and fantastic staff. Head up the radio tower for some great sunset views over all of Stockholm.

See the Vasa! It is an amazingly preserved Viking ship.

The most beautiful city I ever visited. Colorful, nature, safe, clean, old and modern, nice people..
