bring your own swimmsuit along, it beautiful in summertime durign Juli, August and mayby september to float in the the river called 'aare' straight thru the old acient city down town. its stunning!!! First enjoy a walk upwards maybe an half an houre, then swimm with the strong current all the way back!!! You will enjoy a safe and pleasur happening!

do it the easy bernoise style: sure you visit the *Bärengraben* (yes it's small - but soon the poor bears gonna have a bigger new terrain with access to the river) and afterwards stroll through the old village, do some serious shopping (or windowshopping if low on budget), walk by Bundeshaus (Swiss Parliament) stop at one little charming cafes/bars on one of the small streets called "Gassen" and drink a local beer, white wine or cappuccino - generally take it nice easy in swiss capitol city. eat a *Fondue* or *Gschwellti garniert, mit Käse und gemischtem Salat* at Restaurant Harmonie www.Harmonie.ch . and dance later that night at a DubquestSession www.dubquest.com in www.Dampfzentrale.ch or alternatively check www..Sous-Soul.ch , for small concerts check www.ISC-Club.ch and for bigger ones www.Bierhuebeli.ch speak slowly with the locals - they don't like hectic

Switzerland train system is excellent. It is a pleasure to travel swiss countryside by train. Transportation offices clerks are very helpful, they all speak English so anybody can easily get around and there is no way to get lost once you have got your ticket! People in Switzerland are extremely calmed and polite and they will willingly assist any tourist in need. Public facilities are tidy clean and tourist-friendly. I loved Switzerland!

Bern is Switzerlands capital city, but it seems more to be a fairyland, with its old tiny houses so wunderfully decorated, small alleys, all of it built like a little island. Great for shopping, tourism, and people who'd like to see some living bears. Swiss people say, berns people speak very slowly and act very slowly in their way of life ;-)

Visit the Propeller Bar / Club

bern is an amasing city, but make sure you have a map, it's really easy to get lost!!!! make sure you see the lake, it's beautiful any time of the year, and if it's warm you should rent some paddle boats!!!!
