Also, to get a nice overview of the city but in a closer perspective, there's a kind of square in front of the university headquarters overlooking the city. It's also beautiful if you visit it at night, and Zurich is a safe place, so go for it!

Go for a nice cup of coffee or a delicious meal to the restaurant "Neue Waid" and enjoy the panoramic view over Zurich. Especially at night and during festivities like "Zürifäscht" or new years eve the sight is stunning as you can oversea all of the city and have a marvelous view on the fireworks.

Take Tram Nr.11 from Zurich mainstation to Bucheggplatz
Change to Bus Nr.69 and get out at bus stop Waidbadstrasse. The follow the signs.

i spent most of my life in zurich. there is a lot of different things to see in zurich...to me not that special. but u dont need a car...and dont bring one because parking is expensive and hard to find.clubs are open til 4 or 6 am lots of afterparties avoid oerlikon its veri dangerous

If you're going to visit Zurich, on Fridays you absolutely have to go out at the Kaufleuten Club. Great Poeple, even greater music. Also on Saturdays the Kaufleuten is not a bad good place to be, but the Acqua Club at the lake of Zurich may be the better choice. The view on the lake is fenomenal!
