Please be aware that driving around the city in a car will be more hassle than it's worth. You'll get lost and stuck, and you can't park it anywhere, anyway. We natives use the public transport system, which is second to none in the world. We have more tram- and bus-lines than you can hope to memorise in just one visit, and friendly personnel in little booths that will sell you tickets and give you maps. Tickets may seem expensive, but then, Zurich generally is. The upside is, you can reach any destination in the city, and most surrounding areas are well connected. Also, you'll have fun watching the locals get nervous when the transport of choice is more than one minute late...
