    Climbing Kili? If you can afford it take an extra day to acclimatize, especially if you are climbing routes with less chance of success. One extra day can increase your chances from 75% to 95% for making it to the top of Africa!

    If you're planning to do Kilimanjaro there are 3 things I recommend. 1. take walking poles! if you use them it helps to save your legs just that little bit more, and it helps when you are coming back down because if you're anything like me you will fall over - a lot! 2. eat as much as possible! You'll need it! 3. drink as much as you can! I know the toilets are disgusting but they are much better than altitude sickness and dehydration!
