Kilimanjaro, Tanzania Be sure to travel lightly, have really good boots, drink alot and take your time while climbing Kilimanjaro. As the air gets thinner higher up the mountain walk slowly and be sure to drink enough water because you do not want to get dehydrated half way up the mountain. You might get dizzy, tired and get headaches anyway but if you take it easy and have an positive attitude you are more likely to make it all the way. Good tip? (0) Kilimanjaro, Tanzania If you're planning to do Kilimanjaro there are 3 things I recommend. 1. take walking poles! if you use them it helps to save your legs just that little bit more, and it helps when you are coming back down because if you're anything like me you will fall over - a lot! 2. eat as much as possible! You'll need it! 3. drink as much as you can! I know the toilets are disgusting but they are much better than altitude sickness and dehydration! Good tip? (0) Kilimanjaro, Tanzania I have heard so much about Mt. Kilimanjaro that I just can't wait to get there and explore the place. Anyways, finally I have got my opportunity and would be visiting Tanzania in the latter part of this year. This adventure tours certainly involves some great hiking and trekking along, maybe, Rongai route of approach to the summit. Here are a few visuals of the place which tell a story of their own: ekoventure.com/trips/africa-tanzania-kilimanjaro_national_park-climbing-hiking-mountaineering-photography-trekking-exploration-active_sport-acacia-sun-adventures-16076 Good tip?
