This is a verrry nice place, and I would advice everyone to go there!

Thailand, especially, Bangkok is my personal favorite vacation spot. It is my advice to go with a tour guide so that they can show and explain the intricacies of the city and country in order to get a better feel. Furthermore, they will likely know where to get hour-long massages for 2 dollars. Also, there are some very nice remote beaches nearby where the sand is white and the water is clear. It is a perfect place to jetski or even paraglide. Aside from having the most beautiful beaches, Thailand is famous for having beautiful and inconspicuous she-males. Be careful if you are a heterosexual because some of the shemales are very convincing looking. Not my words, it was my guide's. In fact, I promise that one would not be able to tell. Some go as far as injecting fat into their throat area to even out the Adam's apple. Also, my guide explained that most of the transgendered and homosexuals from bordering asian countries come to Thailand because of their open-mindedness and to escape the discrimination, even persecution, from their native country. After visiting Bangkok, I had a totally different view of the culture and city. It is one of the most beautiful places I've been to and there were plenty of outlets here to have fun. Oh another thing, Thailand has the best asian fruits too. No pun intended. I loved Thailand's diversity, FOOD, culture, overall atmosphere, and how an American dollar went a long way. I went pre-tsunami so things might be a little different nowadays. Still, I would like to be back someday soon. 
Oh and another useful tip is to keep it in your pants because Bangkok has the most cases of AIDS for a city in the world, but don't let that scare you. #1 tip for Bangkok: Don't get excessively drunk unless you have a close trusted sober friend looking out for you.

My favorite city!! Its a most If you think about visit asia. People are friendly, all the day and nighttime there is something going on on the streets. Just if your looking for a place to spend a silence night you should think about that ( dont take a room with a window next to the street ).

Bangkok est une très belle ville, riche en culture et en histoire. Il ne faut pas manquer le Palais impérial, le marché aux fleurs, la visite des canaux en pagode... Surtout ne vous privez pas! La gastronomie est excellente.

Phom rak tai, great city with a good nightlife!!! its a mix between tradition and modern, thats why i feel me so familiar in thailand. on the day u can visit alot of wat´s or my favorite: the grand palace. in the evening u have to visit the kao san rd. there u find enough crazy people like thais or farangs ( tourists). if u like the kao san u will love thailand like me. thats my opinion but im just 1 of 1000...

really CRAZY town! you have got to take a "tuk-tuk" (motocycle-taxi) for sightseeing! totally mad...
and the nigthlife is great! even shopping is very cheap!

Food is great but spicy but don't be afraid to eat from the streets. ATMs abound so don't worry about traveller's cheques and such. Nightlife in Bangkok is great and you get great value for higher end accomodations so don't be cheap. $150 per night gets the best treatment ever!
