If you want to be on a beautiful desert Island, don't go to the south of Ko Phangan. If you want tropical island, go to the north or the east of the island.

A wonderful island paradise. Not as hectic or crowded as Ko Samui, but stil developed enough to allow easy acces to wonderful beaches and little fishing villages. If you want the Thai Island experience and are not into the Ibiza of Thailand, then this is the place for you.

Than Saddeth is a great beach with a peninsula in the middle and river-delta and no real road to get there :) The restaurant next to the river had a great cook a few years ago. Plaa´s place up on the hill has cheap, clean and private, cabins, but she only takes "nice" people ;)
