Tobago, Tobago, Trinidad and Tobago
The locals call it paradise and it's not far off. The airport is very close to the main tourist area, but don't let that put you off, most of the flights are small prop planes island hopping and are hardly even a minor annoyance. Make sure you go bird spotting in the rainforest. I recommend taking a local guide (you may find it difficult to avoid one!). If you have a car, head up to Englishman's bay and on to Charlottesville and nearby Pirate's Bay.

Plymouth, Tobago, Trinidad and Tobago
Visit the national aquatium, it's not cheap, but it IS worth it. Some of the tanks are huge and there is a lot to see. Great for families.

Englishman's Bay, Tobago, Trinidad and Tobago
One of the best unspoilt beaches on Tobago (and there are plenty). Superb backdrop of rainforest right down to the beach, you are likely to see (and hear!) parrots flying around, especially in the late afternoon. Not a huge beach and you need a car to get there, but well worth it to find your share of paradise.

Scarborough, Tobago, Trinidad and Tobago
The locals are mostly friendly and more than happy to talk to you, however, lookout... It is not always good to talk to them at dawn/night.

Bon Accord, Tobago, Trinidad and Tobago
Bon Accord is a lovely little place just east of Pigeon Point.

This is a large (relatively) compound of houses that mostly host tourists and wealthier people.

Despite this, the area is quiet and offers lovely gardens with a lot of birdlife including the small Hummingbirds which enjoy their feeders, larger birds like the Tanager and alot of Bananaquits, all feeding from the sugar-feeders.

Must visit "the Seahorse Inn" for dining... Top quality food at medium prices. But even if it is a tiny little bit more expensive, it´s worth it.. Great steaks and seafood and classy sourroundings. Wear nice clothes. My favorite restaurant and very popular, remember to book a table !

Tobago, Tobago, Trinidad and Tobago
The best little island out there. Natural beauty, great culture and the friendliness folks you'd ever want to meet. Eat with the locals - the food is so good. The food shacks by the beaches... awesome.
