Go to the Youth Hostel in the old centre of Bristol, a fantastic place to stay and for meeting a lot of other people! Great kitchen, internet, movies at night, free travel information... Close to several sightseeing places, supermarkets, good places to eat/drink, and not too far from the trainstation. Just go there and check it out!

Visit Clifton village, its very trendy, packed with boutiques, bars, and nice hotels. Go to the suspension bridge.
Don't go to St.Pauls!!

Make sure to check out St Mary Redcliffe. It's the tallest building in Bristol and has been described by Queen Elizabeth I as "the fairest, goodliest, and most famous parish church in England." It's a few blocks south of the main part of Bristol but worth the walk.

I spent a week in Bristol about six years ago and I fell in love with it. I remember getting fish and chips and going on Brandon Hill, sitting down and eating in a sunshine with my friends. I wish to go back someday.

You cannot miss 'Thekla'. Its a boat, and its a club. Its a boat-club!!! We found it accidentally while seeing a band in Bristol and it was very impressive.
