Face cloths have been disappearing from the British hotels at an alarming rate! Pack dry face cloths in individual, sandwich-sized zipper bags. As you use the face cloths, the bags will provide a way to store them away from your clothes and the rest of your belongings as you travel from place to place. Label the bags if you are packing for multiple travellers.

Travel light, it's less stressful and there are always laundrys. ask the cabbies where the locals go. follow the local crowds, too much fun

I went from Edinburg to Macduff and back to the south to London by yacht. It was an amazing cruise. On August on the North Sea is cold. The wind wasn't very strong - we had a 6 degree of Beaufort's at most. Scottish coast is most beautiful than English. Brittish was very nice and helpful.

British Midland International (BMI) airlines caused more problems then it helped. Unless you don't have any other options, don't fly BMI, especially if they are actually just flying on another airline's plane!

If you live in UK and want credit card to use abroad. Get a Post Office credit card. Great savings on exchange rates

If you happen to be going somewhere alone and you're worried about being mugged, tuck all your ID's, bank cards etc in your underpants or something before you set off so that you will feel better about handing over your wallet if you are made to. Chances are your muggers will be uneducated thugs who have dropped out of school.
