A delightful Yorkshire town! Fans of Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights should visit the Parsonage, which was the lifelong home of the Brontë family.

Lovely town with more thant just the Bronte connection. Walk via the curchyard down to the waterfall (easily signposted). Explore the entire town, it is all very sceninc and atmospheric. Recommended in spring or early summer to avoid the crowds. Easy parking.

The best way to explore Hebden Bridge is to buy the excellent Town Centre Trail booklet from the tourist office. The booklet maps out a 1.2km route that can be completed in as little as 45 minutes. However, if you visit everything on the route and stop for comfort breaks and lunch, you could easily make it take all day.
