Warwick, England, United Kingdom
MUST GO SEE WARWICK CASTLE, its more of an amusment park but you could spend weeks there! Go to the bird show at the later time (for me it was 2:30, but it doesn't hurt to go at the early time either, around 12:00) you might just be able to power the trebuchet, like my parents, and Godparents Did.

J'y ais vu le chateau de warwick qui est un sublime chateau, avec diverses animations de type moyen age. Un domaine immense , beaucoup de pieces exposées dont le fameux collier maudit. Je m'en rappelerai longtemps de Warwick castle

Warwick Castle - I loved this castle. It is no longer used as a residence. Camera's are allowed and encouraged. Food is available as well as gift shops at reasonable prices. Climbing stairs in the towers is sometimes a tight squeeze and of course as in much of European attractions there are no elevators or should I say "Lifts". Look up their website for events as they do have demonstrations of Knights riding as well as combat of Knights which is really awesome. Some wildlife is also shown such as owls and hawks besides the regular pet "The Horse". They do offer for dinners at night at the castle with entertainment but requires reservations so check the internet for Warwick Castle. There is uaually a lot of entertainers there to have fun with the guests. That pretty much is it - there is a few small personal owned museums. The Shakespeare residences are not far from Warwick.

Visiting the castle is a must, but it is expensive. if you can plan in advance, there are usually offers available if you do your research before you get there. Make sure you visit Lord Leycester's hospital at the very end of the High Street and St. Also, St. Mary's Church which you can't miss as it's very tall. If the weather is good, have a pub meal at one of a choice of pubs with outside seating around the Market Square. Parking is sadly a bit limited and somewhat expensive.

Visit the church of St. Mary; spectacular inside and out. Walk down to Lord Leyster's hospital at the southern end of town. Make sure you take a stroll down Mill street (just past the castle to the north east) and visit Mill garden for great views.
