Pasear por el centro, sobretodo por la calle Sauchiehall, y meterse por los bares subterraneos a escuchar música. También hay buena música y buenos locales en el barrio universitario, alrededor de Kelvingrove Park.

Take a taxi in Glasgow, or prepare to walk for miles...the buses are terrible, and all operate out of a central hub which doesn't actually go anywhere interesting.

Great George Square :) It doesn't always rain there. Nice pubs too.

Very industrial, I'd rather stay in Edinburgh, though this is apparently a 'youth' city.

If it looks good eat it! Almost everything is good.

Downtown Glasgow near the main train station and the tourist information center is a really cool area where live music is usually playing. It's a big square with statues and whatnots that you can see from the tourist info center, and they have a really good information center so I'd definitely stop by there.

You could spend days browsing in the fantastic second hand record shops: Lost Chord - 11 Park Road; Lost in Music - De Courcy's Arcade; Oxfam Music - 171 Byres Road are all in the West End. In the city centre you'll find Monorail - 12 Kings Court; Avalanche -34 Dundas Street.
