Walk that big boulevard heading west from the mall, downtown. Lots of shopping, bars and general mischief. Found a bar somewhere that had the medieval, dungeon motif. Home of real whisky!

All museums in Glasgow are free! They have clever ways of getting donations. Must do: ride a double decker bus, go to the barrows. The barrows is like a flew market. Museums are great. If you take travellers checks find an American Express store. A bank will charge you to cash them. When I was there the banks charged 10 pounds to cash no matter how big or small. American Express store was free.

Hogganfield Loch is good for children to feed the swans and play in the play park. There is even a mini beach with some sand.
