The Inveroran Hotel also part of the West Higland Way and is popular with hikers, I can recommend the Venison Casserole and Homemade Soup served in the friendly atmosphere of the cosy bar. Most spectacular views surround the hotel which is in the middle of nowhere really, you need to go down a single track road that has a couple of car passing points along the way. We have done the rough camping many times in the past in and around that area, wonderful scenery to wake up to in the morning. Just dodge the midgies or wear skin so soft body lotion the green bottle that seems to work for some people, it's worth trying it. The nearby White Corries hills used to have a ski lift years ago and the views from up there were breath taking, I heard the lift is no longer there but I don't know for sure.

When in Bridge of Orchy, it's a good idea to head over to the Hotel of Bridge of Orchy, and ask if you can camp in their yard or the space they reserved for camping. Be sure to take along a waterproof tent. The space is situated next to an idyllic little river, and it's splendid to wake up and take a morning bath in the river, albeit a little chilly.

A perfect place to stop during the travel in Scotland. The village is situated on the West Highland Way -95miles (152 km) long hiking path between Fort William and Milngavie (some 5 miles north from Glasgow). Moreover, there is one well-known tourist hotel.
