Go Here! It is the cutest little town! Try deep sea fishing while your there it is a crazy hard workout! We even saw dolphins!!

Alaska is the right place to go if you want nature the real way! Talkeetna is an interesting little town that gives a good picture of how fucked up they are in Alaska:-) I loved Alaska!

FrEE Billiards at the south end of town in the A-Frame bar, and just hope-to-god Sweating Honey is playing in town! Additionally, ya might want to bring some food in a cooler, Talkeetna food is very average.

When driving into Talkeetna, you'll make a left onto the main road through town (well, what little town there is.) Follow it all the way down until you find a little parking area. Through the trees there is a little trail head that leads to the bank of the river where you will find the most magnificent view of Mt. McKinley (weather permitting.) I thought I would add this as a tip because it's not marked very well and you wouldn't even think there was anything back there.

Walk to the very end of the road, where the road meets the river. If it's a nice day, the view of Mt. McKinley is breathtaking!
