A beautiful small island right outside of Salt Lake City. By the way, you can see many antelopes there, it is not just the name.

If you ever go to Page, you have to make sure to not miss Antelope Canyon!! It's one of the most impressive things I've ever seen! Make sure you bring your camera and don't go there too late, as the sunlight makes the colors even more beautiful!!

Page AZ. is a definate must see on a trip out west. The Antelope Canyon is soooo cooool! you can walk down into the sandstone canyons(upper and lower) I did the upper,should have done both. The photos from there are famous, reds,oranges, with the sun beams comming through from the top... look it up! I got to check it off of one of my places I want to see in the USA!! Also, there is a short hike to the Horseshoe Bend, you can look 700 ft. down to the Colorado River.It's an amazing view, a great place to eat lunch (;

Nice small town with everything you need: supermarket, restaurants, hotels and bars. Starting point for the Lake Powell.

The main reason for coming to this town is because you want to spend some time on Lake Powell, so I won't tempt you with descriptions of the town itself. There are a number of decent hotels in the vicinity, along Lake Powell Drive / 7th Ave.; you may want to look up the Marriott Courtyard Page, or the locally owned, motorcycle-friendly Page Boy Motel (the mom-and-pop places always have some redeeming features about them, especially in far-flung areas like northern Arizona). The Lees Ferry Lodge is worth checking out just for the atmosphere; their accommodations are more than comfortable, but if you like having a TV in your room look elsewhere.

you should try to attend a tour at the glenn canyon dam. last tour departs 4:00 pm. no bags are allowed. we were just looking at the outside - it was spectacular! if you want a clean nice room look out for the budget host in. it even has a swimming pool and nice rates.
