If you're planning to visit Phoenix, make sure you plan your trip with the weather in mind. If you don't like hot weather, it's best to come in the winter months (November through March). Temperatures can remain in the 100s well into October, and summertime highs can often reach 115-120 degrees Farenheit.

Phoenix is a wonderful place to visit anytime except the summer season. Visitors can choose from literally thousands of golf courses around the metro area, but some of the most affordable and pleasant are municipal courses.

Phoenix is also has many municipal parks and hiking trails. Squaw Peak Park is centrally located in the city, has over 50 miles of routes, and has trails of varying difficulty that hikers of all ages can enjoy.
